The story
Born in an accelerator, built on audit practice
Run Audit was founded within the NovaUCD AI Ecosystem Accelerator to address one of the toughest problems in digital assurance: the inefficiency and complexity of cybersecurity and regulatory audit. The founders had lived the pain of multi-framework, regulator-facing work and set out to build the platform they wished they had.
We are based at Dogpatch Labs, Dublin, Ireland, backed by Enterprise Ireland, and work with firms in Ireland, the EU, and the United States.

How we work
Four principles the product is built on
Evidence first
A conclusion that cannot be walked back to a location in the evidence is not one we will put in front of an auditee.
The auditor concludes
The product proposes and explains. The outcome on every control is the auditor's, and the signed-off work paper says so.
Honest about status
A tool that is not built shows as not built. We do not show invented progress figures, in the product or on this site.
Separation is absolute
No read path across firms, for any reason. Nothing computed from a firm's material leaves the firm.

A software firm that still audits
Run Audit is a specialised IS audit software firm. We use our own platform to deliver services to a small number of clients, which keeps the product honest, and we offer:

- Information assurance cyber table-top exercises
All of our consultants are CISA qualified, with experience in Big 4, enterprise, and government environments.
